Mastering draw technique is a multi-faceted process. One nuanced skillset is drawing your firearm while seated. This could be while in your vehicle, at a restaurant, or at any variety of events. This is an often overlooked, but important, part of daily carrying of a firearm.

Advanced CCW class. Engaging targets within 5 feet, concealing your draw, fighting with your firearm, engaging multiple targets, covering your egress.
Gear list:
Pistol – 619-259-3583 rounds, 2 + Magazines, holster required (CCW)
Closed toe shoes required, pants highly recommended, long sleeves preferred. (OUTDOOR) – wear what you would normally be CCW in with in these confines.

- 23 July 2026, 6:30pm - 7:30pm: Violent Encounters & The Aftermath
Here we will be looking at a verity of defensive encounters you might find yourself in, how to best position yourself to react, what the consequences of how you choose to react will be, and the ensuing legalities of a defensive engagement.

Intermediate class. Working on shooting from cover, how to use and manipulate your environment to maximize protection and minimize exposure, while engaging threats. Working from inside to out of a vehicle to in various engagements and scenarios. Static shooting for technique building inside the vehicle, to active target(s) engagement starting from inside the vehicle and working out and into cover.
Pistol and/or Rifle welcome.

Pistol – 300 rounds, 2 magazines (more recommended), holster required
Rifle (optional) – 400 rounds, multiple magazines, sling, must have a sight / optic

- 30 July 2026, 6:30pm - 7:30pm: Developing A Personal Protection Plan
In this class we will, in part, be discussing how to assess our everyday environment for potential dangers or hazards and how to best be prepared for a response. Primarily focused on creating a Home Defense Plan, the class will cover statical analysis of residential targeted crimes, different ways to secure your home (or “harden your target”) against these crimes, frequently overlooked soft points of residences, best practices and implements to defend your home, and the development of a readiness plan.

This course is an acute breakdown and refining of the draw process. All shooters are welcome but holster experience is required. It is geared towards CCW carriers who are seeking to significantly increase their draw speed. As the title suggests we will be aiming to have you at the 1 second mark for your time on target from concealment.

Pistol – 200 rounds, 2 magazines (more recommended), holster required (CCW)
Closed toe shoes required, pants highly recommended, long sleeves preferred. (OUTDOOR) – wear what you would normally be CCW in with in these confines.

An intermediate class by nature that, prior firearms experience is recommended for learning how to efficiently operate a shotgun from a defensive standpoint. Topics covered: proper manipulation, loads, reloads and malfunctions, recoil management, tactical reloads/tempo, multiple target engagement.
Gear list:
Shotgun – 200 rounds, slug, buck, and bird shot mix recommended. (fewest bird shot) 2+ magazines (if applicable to your shotgun)
